Katie met with Corey from IndependentFilm.com to help promote and support AmeriCorps at the National Association of Broadcasters and RTDNA conventions. Katie who won the Miss America crown in January 2009 is a former broadcasting major. She serves as the National Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network.
